چکیده
The subsidence in coal mines induced by surface and subsurface fires leading to roof collapse, infrastructure loss, loss of lives is a prominent concern. In the study, satellite imagery from thermal microwave remote sensing data used deduce effect on Jharia Coalfields, India. Thermal Infrared acquired Landsat-8 (band 10) derive temperature anomaly maps. Persistent Scatterer Interferometry analysis was performed sixty Sentinel-1, C-band images, results are corrected for atmospheric error using Generic Atmospheric Correction Online Service InSAR (GACOS) modelling decomposed into vertical displacement values quantify subsidence. A zone-wise hazard patterns coalfields carried out. Coal fire maps, velocity land cover maps were integrated investigate impact hazards their surroundings. Maximum approximately 20 cm/yr. up 25 °C has been observed. findings exhibit strong positive correlation between study area. Kusunda, Keshalpur, Bararee collieries identified as most critically affected zones. phenomenon some extending towards settlements transportation networks needs urgent intervention.

متن کاملLand cover land use mapping and change detection analysis using geographic information system and remote sensing
Land cover/land use categories are relevant components in land management. Understanding how land cover/land use change over time is necessary to assess the consequences of humans and natural stressors on the earth’s environment and resources. The aim of the study was to map and monitor the spatial and temporal change in land cover/land use for the periods of 1977, 1991 and 2016 and to predict ...

In Australia, remotely sensed Landsat data is routinely used for mapping and monitoring changes in the extent of woody perennial vegetation. Time series remotely sensed satellite imagery and ground information is used to form multi-temporal classifications of presence/absence of woody cover. Two broad-scale operational land cover change and monitoring projects are based on a series of algorithm...
